VN - Ren'Py - A Wife and Mother [v0.205] [Lust & Passion]

Almost nearing a decade long interpretation, and yet their is little to no content with regards to main story.

Main character Sophia being a mother and a wife, has zero development especially losing focus with random snippets on the side that has negligible impact on the actual plot.

Starts with a family moving in a new city & house from some place, trying to settle down with life. As a wife and a mother struggling to fight corrupt emotions. Yet nothing much has happened with "movers, neighbours, friends, relatives, colleagues, boss, husband's boss, office staff, janitor, faculty, random criminals at school or mafia etc."

Also, dev particular focus on corrupting innocent sex Ed students despite being a victim of blackmailing herself, and doing it via physical activities feels quite peculiar.

Write a story, move the plot forward, there are several other characters available give hot scenes, but stop molesting in the name of Sex Ed.

I almost gave up on this game a few times in the beginning. The pacing was slow, the content felt a bit monotonous, and there were scenes that seemed unnecessary—like watching a character just sit in a car when they could have simply cut to the next important moment. But I decided to stick with it, mainly because the characters were visually appealing, and I sensed that the premise had potential.

And I’m glad I did. As I continued playing, I began to really appreciate how Sophia's character gradually evolves, becoming more open as the story progresses. If you're looking for a game where you can jump straight into the action, this isn’t it. The build-up here is painstakingly slow, but that’s part of its charm. I enjoy games that take their time developing characters and relationships, making you earn those moments of payoff. This game excels at that, drawing you in and teasing you along the way.

The writing is solid for the most part, with only a few minor grammatical hiccups. Some characters are more interesting than others, but it’s the relationships you develop with them that truly stand out. I have not finished the game up until its current state, but i will becuase of sophi

Let me start by saying that this game is unique. This is not a judgment of it's value, I'm not trying to do that just yet, so it just means that there is no other game like it. Let me explain why.

This is first and foremost an incest game. It explores several family relationships:

• mother/son
• mother/daughter
• brother/sister
• 'mother'/sister
• and then also
• 'mother'/female friend
• 'mother'/young male friend
• 'mother'/blackmail
• 'mother'/nursejob
• 'mother'/sex ed teacher

This is second a real slow burn game. So in most games, for whatever reason, you have normal burn or quick burn. It is typical for a mother to walk into her son's room while he's getting dressed and start thinking 'I need that dick, it's such a shame he's my son' and by the next scene she's already lusting and ready to start the usual handjob, blowjob, titjob, etcjob and fuck routine.

Slow burn games take it a bit more slow, the mother doesn't immediately want the dick oh no, she first has a couple of 'I can't do this' type of thoughts, so it takes at least three scenes for her to accept the dick as her new pal.

Now...real slow burn games, of which exist very few out there, they try at least to make some real world sense. Why would a mother or a sister or a brother lust for a family member like they are strangers? It's not an easy thing to happen, it takes time and it needs lust and passion to build up to a point where the desire takes over the logical centers of the brain.
That's what you get with AWAM. That's the main kink it has and it's very powerful to the right fans. You get a lot more EROTIC than PORN in such a game which is why the porn lovers hate on it so much and constantly complain about there being no fucking after so many years of development. They don't understand what genre of game they are playing.

Another one of AWAM's biggest strengths is represented in the relationship list I wrote back there. For the fans of the erotic and the 'real slow burn', they tend to start losing interest in a game when the lust stops winning and the logical takes over. Once the mother loses all inhibitions and just wants to fuck with no moral issues (and you've seen a couple of sex scenes), well you're done. You lose interest after that.
But AWAM is being developed in a way where you basically have 10 different games in 1! Ten different paths, where you get to enjoy the discovery of giving in to the lust ten different times, in ten different scenarios, each one with it's different erotic appeal.

You could make a separate game based on just one of these paths with some 3000 renders and just over a year of development time. By trying to advance 10 paths the dev will ofc need, idk 30000 renders? That takes a lot of time. He's up to some 17000 now so still a ways to go.
Of course all paths could be fucking right now but that would've meant less renders per path which would've meant the mother had to 'ok let's fuck' by day 2.

The quality in particular I find it to be very good. The game is some 7 years old right now and the render quality has improved greatly. Animations were added that are very well done and I am a fan of the erotic situations created by the dev. The writing is good even if it slides a little bit here and there but it does a very good job at depicting these close to reality scenarios instead of the typical 'let's fuck' VN's.

In conclusion, if you're a fan of the erotic slow burn that makes it feel a bit more real in the gradual way the inhibitions are shed by the MC, this game will keep on giving for years to come. Even when in one path the 'mother' accepts that it's time to give in to lust and have sexual encounters, you will be able to repeat that feeling in a different path and then another and another...and it's a powerful sensation if this is your kink.

PS: Now, if by some way or another (adding helpers, using AI in some fashion, etc) it would be possible to speed up the creation of them renders to like 300-400 every 2 months so that we can have a steady flow of updates instead of it going over 4 months some times...that would be perfect!!!
PS2: Wouldn't mind some good sound work as well to round up the playing experience.

Perhaps one of the slowest build-ups I've seen in an adult game, but patience paid off big time. The second part/season has ramped things up a notch and the render/animation quality has jumped quite high. I love the developer's usage of public environments (especially the school setting) with colorful characters, making this a thrilling journey.

due to the fact that no matter the progress sophia makes, it always seems to be 2 steps forward 500 back and L&P is just toying with the players at this point. the game is sad and ill be 60 before any real content is created.

Renders are good but other than that this game took a nosedive since I first supported it.

At the moment the writing is atrocious and developer keeps changing main character's face. You will feel like you are playing with 4 different main characters. Very unrealistic.

first of all the new Sophia face is a real mess and the last update confirm it, beyond this the game is a joke the slow pace is ridiculous and there is no longer a plot only no sense scene each update.
I don't see future for this game anymore, a real waste

milking donors for years, tiny updates every quarter of the year, no real progress. game needs a clearer direction, and be upfront with players/donors. people followed this game for a long time, dev need to be more transparent

ONLY a handjob scene to show when we've had close to no news whatsoever from dev. This 'slowburn' that people keep talking about is entirely non-existent. Save yourself the disappointment, leave this game to die a slow death. Don't fall into dev's honeypot words and false promises.

Game has been in development limbo for 7 years now. This is leagues past Patreon baiting, this is straight up money farming.

it's been going on for a very very long time now and didn't live up to my expectations after all these years, the outlook was great and the graphics got better over the years but the directing got bad, there are several routes in the game and playing on one of them could result in having nothing to playing for more than a year or so, and the list goes on and on.
there are positive events in there too though (to my preference of course), the events with sam/dylan/amber/ellie for instance - but in the end it all comes down to the execution/directing in my opinion which is terrible to be honest, as player you'd forget who is who by the time next update is out.
not to mention the unnecessary characters and events in the game, which has been source of all the criticism and backlash from the community.
in the end i'm giving it 3 stars even though i should have gave it less comparing it to other games with ton of contents but hey i loved some memorable scenes in there and i have to be fair.

The pacing could knock this down a star for some, but I think the quality makes up for it. Don't know what the dev will do if patrons mostly give up on it after so many years of development, but enough of that. The game is excellent. Attractive female MC with slow burn corruption, and interesting characters throughout. The story and renders are among the best on here. Choices matter. Even if this game were to never be completed, I would enjoy replaying what's already been created.

as others have said it started off good and all but then after the second part it just fell apart the story is all over the place you dont know what the main story is you get the case of the blue balls from all of the no sex content except for the teasing or foreplay.
if you want to call it that the story was good and done well in part 1 but 2 it took a turn only thing good about part 2 so far is the renders are updated and dont look to bad

the game started off good but then as you progress you find out that this is in fact one of the longest slow burning games of all time blue balls every which away . the story is not to bad starting off but about half way in with side jobs and stories it seems to have jumped ship with the main story line and blurred what is main story and all the side stories together it seems and the story no long is realistic or believable anymore . renders are good except for the new look of sophia that is another story in of itself

I decided to follow the "secret lesbian" good wife, and a "lovely" mom with her son and daughter path... It took only a billion years for the first sex scene to happen in the game and was with her husband. There are so many corruption paths that seems you can go fucking around with everyone. I'm a big fan of games with female protagonists/corruption where you can choose if the woman is sluty or not. Great game.

This game will be finished after Luffy finds the One Piece. Good quality but the updates are too short and too far between to consider this game anything but a huge patreon cash bag.

Graphics and characters are very well done

I like the fact that the MC is female (the vast majority of games the MC is male and that gets boring)

The story does not have as many cliches as most games (In those games you just start playing and you are practically fucking everyone, in this one no, I liked that)

And personally I do not like that there are routes of lesbianism, but hey, that is optional.

Its a bit of a slow burn at first but some of the scenes literally are the sexiest I've seen in a AVN. Its long and you have to keep track of your story track. If you get all the way to the end there are several tracks you could end up on changing a lot of content. Well worth the time!

I almost gave up on this game a few times at the start. It was slow, kinda boring, and had a lot of unnecessary scenes. Like, if someone gets into a car, just cut to them at their destination—we don’t need a detailed render of the car ride. But I stuck with it because the characters looked great, and I sensed there might be a fun story in there.

And there was! As I kept playing, I really started to enjoy how Sophia slowly becomes more open. If you’re looking for a game where you can jump right into the action, this isn't for you. It’s a very slow burn. Personally, I like games that take their time to build up, establish characters, and make you work toward something. This game nails that, and it gets better and better at teasing the player as it goes on.

The writing is mostly solid, with just a few grammatical errors. Some of the characters are pretty interesting, but it’s really the relationships you develop with them that steal the show. I’m definitely looking forward to the next update to see how much farther Sophia will push her boundaries!
